Elizabeth Anne Designs with Dellables at Haiku Mill

When the bride is from Texas and the groom is from Australia, you can’t find a more beautiful middle ground on which to hold your nuptials than Hawaii, and that’s why Elysia and Bryce chose Haiku Mill for their destination wedding. With the lush island landscape all around, Elysia chose understated colors to ground the decor, such pink and cream florals from Dellables and a vintage vibe with decor such as hanging chandeliers and glass and silver accents. Bridesmaids wore gray gowns that softly accented Elysia’s column-style gown, a classic look that’s unexpected but gorgeous. Vintage lace accents on her veil are stunning, and we love the bold look of her bright blue shoes paired with the traditional gown. Enjoy these ethereal images from Tamiz Photography!

And don’t miss the video of this spectacular day from Supreme Video Productions below.
From Tamiz Photography… This bride and groom were legally married and began saving up to have their dream wedding at the Haiku Mill. They enjoyed the night with their closest friends and family, as well as their adorable daughter. The Haiku Mill was strung with cranes and orchids to create an incredibly breathtaking backdrop for their intimate wedding.

The Wedding Chicks & Dellables

The Wedding Chicks blog!  We are sooooo excited to be featured here!

Vintage Garden Wedding Ideas At Haiku Mill

We have some lovely vintage garden wedding ideas to share with you today designed by Della Peacock of Dellables and photographed by Karma Hill at Haiku Mill. Once a sugar mill ruin dating back to 1857, it has been fully recreated and is filled with European decor. Including a shabby chic chandelier that hangs in the open air dining space. Making for an old world delight in the middle of paradise. See more vintage garden wedding ideas in the full gallery by clicking here.

We fully enjoy the idea of using vintage style tea cups filled with flowers as wedding favors. You can collect tea cups from second hand stores and either drop them off at your wedding florist or make it a fun DIY project. They really do look quite sharp when paired with the simple yet elegant calligraphy escort cards form Barbara Vanderpool of Miss B Calligraphy.

Keeping with the vintage style tea cup theme in mind, Della Peacock of Dellables used a vintage style tea cup as the cake topper as well. Such a great idea … do you love it?

I could never get enough of this venue! Every where you look, there always something magical to photograph. Every nook, cranny and corner holds a bit of history going back into 1800′s. One step into the property and it feels as if you have stepped back into time. Haiku Mill is hands down one of the most beautiful venues on Maui. If you’re a bride (or groom) looking for venue to get married on Maui, look no further – Haiku Mill will blow you away. To Tiffany+Ryan,  you chose the perfect venue for your wedding celebration and I am honored to be there to help capture your special day. Tiffany, when I first saw your shoes, I knew from the beginning that it would be a “rockin’ party”.  I had the pleasure getting to know the both of you and capturing some amazing memories. You both make such a beautiful couple. Thank you again and I look forward to when we cross paths once again. “Rock on!”
