Plantation House Wedding

Way over on the West Side of Maui, tucked magically between the nearby island of Molokai and the untouched forests of the Kahalewai mountains is the Plantation House Restaurant within the Golf resort of Kapalua.

These Petal Cones were just one of the many touches gracing another Events by Evonne wedding. The Brides colors were turquoise and lime green, so these green Dendrobians, wrapped in vellum paper. Sure beats rice doesn't it?

This May Bride flew over special to meet all the vendors some months before her big day. Evonne made her feel comfortable in our famous Maui way, introducing everyone and showcasing our work in advance.

Her Bridal Path was decorated by our very own Pineapples with her signature ribbon wrap and green Dendrobian orchids. Her bare feet seemed to float on the petals as she absolutely glided to the Groom's side.

Provided by Debbie Fisher, of Pacific Event Group, Inc. these chair sashes, Turquoise of course! were highlighted by our green Dendrobian Orchid leis - for each guest!

This looked so lovely with the Pineapples lining the aisleway and gave it an elegant tropical accent. Throw in a beautiful sunset over the Pacific and you get the picture.

Her bouquet was created with Jade Roses, Green Cymbidium Orchids and Monkey Tail Ferns. She just LOVED it.

Going to a secluded beach just after the nuptials we couldn't help but focus on the brilliant texture and color against the sand - and the Bride was beautiful too!

Returning to the Reception area she was greeted by our floating flower arrangements at each guest table.

The Sweetheart Table had more of the iconic Pineapple, sprinkled Orchids and another floating flower arrangement with colored glass beads immersed in organic rainwater, of course!

It was a day for everyone to remember.

Naturally, the pictures make it all possible (to remember) and in this very special case we tip our Leis to Element Studios, right here on Maui.
