Elizabeth Anne Designs with Dellables at Haiku Mill

When the bride is from Texas and the groom is from Australia, you can’t find a more beautiful middle ground on which to hold your nuptials than Hawaii, and that’s why Elysia and Bryce chose Haiku Mill for their destination wedding. With the lush island landscape all around, Elysia chose understated colors to ground the decor, such pink and cream florals from Dellables and a vintage vibe with decor such as hanging chandeliers and glass and silver accents. Bridesmaids wore gray gowns that softly accented Elysia’s column-style gown, a classic look that’s unexpected but gorgeous. Vintage lace accents on her veil are stunning, and we love the bold look of her bright blue shoes paired with the traditional gown. Enjoy these ethereal images from Tamiz Photography!

Flowers at the Mill

Personally, I love the contrast between ancient stone and fresh, delicate flowers.

The distinct difference in the way time embraces each is a beautiful reminder of our own fleeting youth, but also, and perhaps more importantly in a marriage, it also emphasizes the enduring qualities of human relationships, love and happiness.

The colors of the flowers, fresh for a moment, make us smile on our day. And, there in the background, the intricate and timeworn stone reminds us how enduring our memory of that day will be.

Elegant and Ancient

The wonderful Haiku Mills here on Maui's North Shore (and close to Dellables.com) is a magnificently preserved location approaching "ruin" status but very elegantly so!

We captured one of their Virtual images, where you can scroll a 360 degree view and see just how expansive and awesome this location really is.

Dellables did a wedding here this past Sunday and it was one of the best 'presentations' we have seen. Check the several pictures below! CLICK FOR ENLARGEMENTS

Pali Makai Estate in Haiku

It is always nice to work close to home, and the Pali Makai Estate in our neighborhood of Haiku is literally 3 miles away.

Add to this some dazzle by Events by Evonne, a full moon, and a trade wind breeze straight off a 3000 mile journey across the Pacific Ocean, and you have the recipe for success!

Della created 4 foot long customized flower boxes that held some 100 individual Masterpieces of Nature.  Four of these spanned the dining tables and being low in profile, afforded the guests to frame their opposite diner with both tropical mountains and ocean in the near distance with colorful flowers in the foreground.  Yummy indeed!

Additionally, some famous San Francisco Image Inventors were there to catalog the wonder:
Ann HamiltonGene Higa and Anton Lorimer

Here are some more pictures, as well as one of the 6 foot tall Topiaries, elegant in every regard.  We even matched the color of our bamboo to those of the Chivari chairs!  Yes, we know, amazing.
